On Wednesday, February 21st, we welcomed the students of the 1st and 2nd grades of the 5th Primary School of Kalambaka to the Library, with the aim of informing them about educational programs and acquainting them with the children’s section collection.
Initially, they engaged in robotics, specifically with the educational package mTiny, designed for students in the early grades of elementary school, providing an introductory experience to programming in a playful manner. Then, they played educational games on the interactive board, specially designed for the 1st and 2nd grades, and solved exercises to review their school material. Finally, they conducted some searches in the library’s electronic catalog with the assistance of the librarians and located their favorite books on the shelves.
