On Wednesday, May 15, we welcomed at the Library the first-grade students of the 1st Kalambaka Primary School. The children were given a tour of the children’s department, got acquainted with the book and toy collection, and were informed about the process of becoming a new library member.
Then, the much-loved children’s book The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig, which is an unexpected and entertaining version of the classic fairy tale The Three Little Pigs was read to them. The kids had fun with the sneaky evil pig and understood that with kindness, acceptance and apology everything can change! Then, they solved exercises, specially designed for the first grade, on the interactive whiteboard, revising the school curriculum.
