On Tuesday, April 2nd, the Library was filled with cheerful faces, smiles, and children’s voices! Our little friends from the 3rd Kindergarten of Kalambaka visited the Library as part of the International Children’s Book Day, established to celebrate the birthday of the great Danish fairy tale writer Hans Christian Andersen (April 2, 1805) by the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) in 1966.
Initially, there was a reading of the beloved children’s book “The Dot,” one of the most famous books that encourages children to try new things and have confidence in their abilities. Through this tender story, the value of effort is highlighted, as well as the importance of the support we receive from our loved ones. Then, the children engaged with the educational mTiny package, making a first introduction to the world of robotics.
We thank the 3rd Kindergarten of Kalambaka for their visit and collaboration.
