3D Scanning Workshop with the 6th Grade of the 1st Primary School of Kalambaka

On Monday, April 1st, the 6th-grade students of the 1st Primary School of Kalambaka visited the Library with the aim of getting acquainted with the advanced technology of 3D scanning and digital file processing.

In a previous workshop, students had the opportunity to use the Library’s three-dimensional scanner and become familiar with the process of scanning objects. In today’s workshop, they processed the digital file created as a result of the previous scans and step-by-step created the final result that will be sent for three-dimensional printing.

In the next meeting, students will learn about printing materials, types of printers, and will observe the printing of the file they created.

We thank the 1st Primary School of Kalambaka for their cooperation.
