The Kalambaka Library warmly thanks Mr. Michalis Dinapogia and Mr. Konstantinos Sgouralis, originating from Vlachava and Achladea, respectively, in the Municipality of Meteora, for their participation in the Oral Testimonies program “Tell Your Story,” carried out by the Library.
The purpose of the program is to create a repository of oral testimonies and other accompanying material related to the local history of the Meteora area, as well as the broader region of Thessaly. The recorded and videotaped life stories of the participants will be accessible through the Library’s electronic catalog, allowing everyone to view and listen to them. They will serve as a legacy for future generations, and we hope they will shed “light” on various aspects of social, cultural, and economic life of the past century.
Library associates visit villages in the Municipalities of Meteora and Trikala to record stories and collect material.
