Library announces the launch of a lecture series titled “Artificial Intelligence – Year 2026,” co-organized with the Association of Greek Librarians and Information Scientists (EEBEP).
The series will be inaugurated by the Minister of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence, Mr. Dimitris Papastergiou. The opening event is scheduled for Friday, January 23, 2026, at 18:00, at the Divani Meteora Hotel in Kalambaka.
As part of the program, distinguished academics, leading scientists, and representatives from the state and the judiciary will analyze the impact and prospects of Artificial Intelligence in key sectors, including public administration, justice, education, and the economy.
The Kalambaka Library aims to become the center of a nationwide dialogue, providing citizens with reliable information regarding technological developments and future challenges. This program is addressed to academics, students, professionals, and citizens across the country who wish to gain an in-depth and responsible understanding of AI’s role in modern Greece.
