A valuable oral testimony by Mr. Georgios Stoubis at the Library

As part of the oral history program implemented by the Library, another interview was conducted with Mr. Georgios Stoubis, who hails from Amarantos, Kalabaka.

Mr. Stoubis, with a clear memory and vivid narration, shared experiences and memories that shed light on the social, economic, and cultural life of the region during the 20th century. Through his testimony, important aspects of everyday life in the village, the changes brought by time, and the preservation of local traditions were captured.

This initiative is part of the Library’s broader effort to document and preserve the collective memory of the region through the stories of residents who experienced significant moments in our area. The program aims to create a valuable archival resource accessible to future generations.

The Kalabaka Library warmly thanks Mr. Stoubis for his participation and his contribution to preserving local history.
