The French literacy course cycle for children and adults, held every Wednesday at the Library, has been completed for this year.
The activities, both cultural and educational in nature, were initiated by the Twin Cities Association of Kalambaka and the Association of Public Education French Language Teachers of Trikala Prefecture. Their aim was to demonstrate that French is a language of international influence, embodying the principles of equality, solidarity, and democracy, and used as a tool of expression by many scientists.
The children, under the guidance of Mrs. Vasiliki Akratou, worked on text comprehension and pronunciation improvement, learned basic words and phrases, and gained fluency in speaking. Meanwhile, the adults, taught by Mrs. Elli Papathanasiou, became familiar with the customs and traditions of French culture and acquired skills that allow them to navigate comfortably in a French-speaking country using everyday language.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Twin Cities Association of Kalambaka and the Association of Public Education French Language Teachers for their selfless contribution, and we look forward to meeting again next year!
