On Tuesday, July 30th, the children’s workshop “The Journey of Survival” took place in the village of Agiofyllo in the Municipality of Meteora for our young readers! The aim of the workshop was to enrich their knowledge about the Stone Age, the living conditions of prehistoric people, and the arts that began to gradually develop during that period.
First, we played a True-False game, learning basic information about daily life during the Stone Age, and then we solved a survival quiz to see if we could survive if we were transported back to that time! Afterwards, we talked about famous rock art found in well-known caves and the creation of pottery, figurines, and jewelry made from bones, stones, and shells. Finally, just like prehistoric people, the children made their own shell bracelets and were thrilled with the results!
We would like to thank Mr. Efthymios Karagiannis, President of Agiofyllo, for his cooperation and the warm hospitality.
