The workshop “Bugs Everywhere!” was held in Kastraki

On Thursday, August 1st, the children’s workshop “Bugs Everywhere!” took place in the village of Kastraki, as part of the Summer Campaign for Reading and Creativity organized by the National Library. The purpose of the workshop was for children to learn through experiential observation of nature and to enrich their knowledge about various categories of insects.

Initially, the children played an interactive game where they searched for Bug Cards hidden in trees and plants, learning basic information about many insects, such as the worm, ant, spider, ladybug, butterfly, and others. Afterwards, they designed and painted many of the insects they identified on the cards, and some even created them out of clay.

We would like to thank the village president, Mr. Eleftherios Fletsios, for his collaboration.
