The Kalambaka Library participated in the annual National Conference of the Hellenic Association of Librarians and Information Scientists (AGLIS), which took place from September 16-19 at the Koventareios Municipal Library of Kozani (KDBK).
After the conclusion of the conference, the Director of the Library, Mrs. Theopi Katsiamani, happily announced to the delegates that the next EEBEP Conference, titled “The Democracy of Knowledge and the Dangers of Misinformation,” will be held at the Kalambaka Library from June 11-13, 2025. The year 2025 is a milestone for the Library as it celebrates 10 years of operation, and they are thrilled to host this event.
The conference of the Hellenic Association of Librarians and Information Scientists is one of the most important events in the field of Greek libraries. It provides an opportunity for dialogue, exchange of experiences and research results, the development of collaborations, while covering topics such as library services, library automation, material management, information sources, and technological advancements.
