Is it possible for a fruit to play music? Can we play drums with water? What sound can a coin make? If you are wondering, come on Sunday, May 8 at 11:00 am to make our own original musical instruments with fruit, wires, computers, plasticine, coins, aluminum foil, paintings and anything else we can imagine!!! And that’s not all… next we will create music for a movie and be transported into space!
The activity will last two hours and is aimed at children aged 6 to 9 years old, who can bring a fruit or a piece of foil. The programme will be carried out by Mr. Yannis Migdanis, musician and PhD candidate in Music Education at the European University of Cyprus (E.U.C.). He holds a Master’s degree in “Music Pedagogy” (M.Mus.) from the European University of Cyprus, a Master’s degree in Advanced Teaching (M.Ed.) from the University of the People (UoPeople) and a Master’s degree in Information Systems (M.Sc.) from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). He has written music for theatre, short films, fairy tales and has set to music Greek and foreign poets. He has participated in more than 20 international scientific conferences on topics related to music, education and technology, and his articles have been published in conference proceedings and scientific journals.
We are waiting for you at the Library to have fun!!!! Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version).
