The Staff

Theopi Katsiamani is a graduate of the Librarianship and Information Systems Department of the Alexandrian Technological and Educational Institute in Thessaloniki and is currently working on her MA on Cultural Unit Management at the Hellenic Open University.

She worked in the photography archive of Pegasus Publications in 2005, in the National Bank Archives in 2006 where she was Head of Restoration of rare and fragile documents. Later, she was hired as Managing Librarian at the Paiania Public Library.
She held the position of Managing Librarian at the Kalambaka Library in 2014 and contributed in the designing and organization of the newly-established building. In November 2016 she became the Director.

Eleni Mouskeftaropoulou is a graduate of the Department of Archives, Library Science, and Museology at the Ionian University and holds a Master’s degree in “Information Science: Information Services in a Digital Environment” from the Ionian University.

She worked for five years at the American College of Thessaloniki, a division of Anatolia College, as well as at the library of the Holy Metropolis of Nea Krini and Kalamaria. Since June 2019, she has been working at the Kalambaka Library in the Acquisition, Processing, and Documentation Department, where she is responsible for cataloging and donations.

She is also responsible for content management of the library’s website and serves as an internal control officer for the library’s management capacity and adequacy.

Esmeralda Dudushi is a graduate of the Department of Library, Archives, and Information Systems at the International Hellenic University. She completed her internship at the Library & Information Centre of the University of Macedonia.

From 2023 to 2024, she was employed in the Open Science Department at the Scientific Information Services (SIS) of CERN in Geneva. Since October 2024, she has been serving at the Kalambaka Library, where she is responsible for the creation of visual, audio, and multimedia resources. In addition, she manages the Library’s Collection and Book Club, and participates in the organization of events and educational programs for both children and adults.

Nikoletta Siori is a graduate of the Librarianship and Information Systems Department of the Alexandrian Technological and she is a graduate of a translator school center.

From 2006 to 2008, she worked in the Public Library of Edessa, where she was responsible for the “Mobile Library” program implementation, within the framework of the Ministry of Education project “Support of the Educational Act for Mobile Libraries”. Then, in 2010 she worked at the Library of the University of Macedonia, where she mainly involved in supporting the university students and teachers in academic research.  

Since November 2023 she has been working at the Kalampaka Library, where her primary duties are collection management and social media updating. She is responsible for the development and implementation of the program Educational robotics in remote villages of the Municipality of Meteora and the cooperation with the Police Directorate of Trikala in the framework of the program Making the Distance Shorter.

Anastasia Zika is a graduate of the Department of Archives, Library Science and Museology at the Ionian University and holds a Master’s Degree in the postgraduate program “Digital Information Management – Information Services” from the same university. She completed her internship at the Greek Educational Museum in Kalambaka as well as at the Dionysios Solomos Museum in Corfu.
Later, during the period 2022–2023, as a graduate, she worked at the Greek Educational Museum, where one of her main responsibilities was the cataloging and creation of a digital archive for the books in the museum’s collection.
Since January 2025, she has been working at the Kalambaka Library, where she is involved in the design and implementation of educational programs, as well as robotics, creativity, and arts workshops. She also coordinates two reading clubs, the Adult Reading Club and the Teen Reading Club. In addition, she is responsible for the Library’s social media and basic graphic design needs.
Markella Koloxeri is a graduate of the Department of Archives, Library Science and Museology at the Ionian University and is currently a student in the Master’s Program “Digital Information Management – Information Services” at the same university. She completed her first internship at the Municipal Library of Trikala and her second internship as a trainee in an accounting office.
Through her internship at the Municipal Library of Trikala, she gained knowledge in cataloguing and classifying library materials, as well as in assisting library visitors.
Since January 2026, she has been working at the Kalambaka Library, where she is involved in the implementation of educational programs, robotics workshops, and English language lessons for both children and adults, as well as creativity and arts workshops. At the same time, she is responsible for the Library’s remote collaboration with Greek schools abroad and with remote schools of the Municipality of Meteora, where robotics lessons are conducted in both cases. Additionally, she contributes to the management of the Library’s social media and supports its basic graphic design needs.

Dimitris Makris is a graduate of the University of Piraeus with a degree in Informatics. He works at the Kalambaka Library as an Information Technology Specialist since 2015.

He was previously employed as a programmer in companies both in Athens and Larisa. For 3 years he worked as a support manager in Informatics and Communications for the Greek School Network. At the same time, also works as an Informatics Teacher in various technical and educational institutes across the country. Furthermore, he has edited two books on Information Systems, and participated in several international IT conferences during his academic years.

His main responsibilities at the Kalambaka Library are the attendance to all technologies and infrastructures as well as staff and client support in IT matters. Also, he is responsible for the realization of a number of workshops and the implementation of cutting-edge technology in the building.

Lina Stamati is a graduate of the Department of Archival and Library Science of the Ionian University and holds a master’s degree in “Management of Cultural Units” of the Hellenic Open University. She worked at the European Auditing Conference in Luxembourg as well as at the European Center for the Development of Vocational Training in Thessaloniki where her main responsibilities were updating and maintaining the bibliographic base and creating bibliographies.

Today at the Library she deals with updating the website and is responsible for updating the social media.
