The members of the Adult Reading Club will have the pleasure to talk with the well-known author Mrs. Eugenia Fakinou, on Thursday, November 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the context of their monthly meeting.
The incredible journey of the books of the beloved author and the impact they had on the public, stimulated the members to want to study her work and to exchange views and ideas with the author herself.
In 1976 Mrs. Fakinou created the puppet theater "Tin Town", which was a great success and since then she has written and illustrated many children's books. Her first novel, entitled "Astradeni", moved readers and is considered, if not the best, one of the top novels of the post-colonial era. In 2005 he was honored with the Readers' Award (National Book Center) for the novel "The Orleans Method" and in 2008 with the State Short Story Award for the collection of short stories "Garden Aspirations".
We thank Ms. Fakinou, as well as Kastaniotis Publications for their cooperation.
