The meeting of the adult's book club will take place on Thursday, June 3 at 18:30 in the courtyard of the Library. The interest of the members has turned to the detective novel, and specifically to the work of the distinguished author Petros Markaris.

 

Petros Markaris was born in Istanbul in 1937 and studied economics in Austria. He is an exponent of police literature, he has translated works of world literature, while at the same time he has collaborated in film scripts with Theodoros Angelopoulos. He has been honored with international literary awards and his books have been translated into many languages.
