The Kalambaka Library in cooperation with the Municipality of Meteora organizes free summer movie screenings. The opening movie will be Greek film Cloudy Sunday in the backyard of the Library.
A few words about the film:
We are in Thessaloniki during the Occupation. George is a carpenter, a waiter in the shop of Vassilis Tsitsanis and a resist. Estrada sings in the Jewish choir of the city and lives with her parents and her brother, Socialist Alberto. The two of them know because George is a friend of Alberto and they meet in the basement of Giorgos' carpentry, which works for resistance. So their love begins slowly.
