On Saturday, April 9 at 8:00 p.m. the screening of the film "Man of God", written and directed by Yelena Popovic and the well-known actor Aris Servetalis in the leading role, will take place in the courtyard of the Library.

The film deals with the life and work of Saint Nektarios, (aka Anastasios Kefalas), who was fraudulently expelled from Alexandria and arrived in Greece to continue his sacred mission despite adversity. Saint Nektarios was loved by the flock as few and the Ecumenical Patriarchate in 1961 declared him a Saint.

The film won an award at the Moscow International Film Festival and the Los Angeles Greek Film Festival in 2021 and was shot in places where Saint Nektarios lived and acted, in Attica and of course Aegina, where he founded his famous monastery, a place of worship.
