On Monday, April 11 at 3:30 pm, as part of the thematic workshop, there will be an online presentation of Olga Garagouni-Shkodra's new book entitled "Little Lazarines". The subject of the book is the customs of our homeland, the ones related to the great celebration of Easter, and what precedes it.
We are waiting for you at the Library to learn about the miracle of the resurrection of Lazarus, to sing the carols of Lazarus and to paint the Little Lazarus!
Olga Garagouni-Skondra, originally from Trikala, was born in 1985. She studied English and Greek Philology at EKPA. She received a Master's Degree in Sociolinguistics (MPhil) from the University of Dublin (Trinity College) and a Master's Degree in English Language Teaching (MSc) from the University of Oxford. Throughout her studies she received scholarships from IKY, the Irish Government and the DAAD. She works as a Teacher at the "Hellenic Education" Schools and at the Social Tutoring Center of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens. "Little Lazarines" is her first children's book. It is published by Fthgos Publications and has been awarded by the Writers' Union of Northern Greece.
