On Saturday 6/5/2023 Dr. Meletis Meletopoulos will attend the Library in order to give a talk on "The Myth of Navarino".
Meletis Taygetos H. Meletopoulos was born in Athens in 1962. He holds a PhD in Economics and Social Sciences from the University of Geneva and a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Athens. Since 1990, he has been working in Secondary Education, in high schools. He has taught Sociology and Political Economy, Vocational Guidance, History, Elements of a Democratic State, while he has been a Class Counselor and responsible for the Youth Parliament program. Since 1999 he has been teaching Economics at the Moraitis School. In the Panhellenic Examinations he is an examiner of students with learning difficulties. He also has long tutoring experience in preparing candidates for universities and public competitions. At the same time, he has taught for a number of years at the National School of Public Administration, the Greek Police Officers School and the Air Force School. He has also taught Economic and Social History at the University of Geneva and the University of Crete.
