On Saturday 01/4/2023 at 6:00 p.m. Dr. Thanos Askitis will give a speech in the Library on the topic of discussion: "Selfishness in the partnership".

Dr. Thanos E. Askitis is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Athens, specializing in Neurology and Psychiatry. He is trained as a therapist of interpersonal relationships and human sexuality. He is a Doctor of Psychiatry at the University of Athens and Professor of Psychiatry at the European University of Cyprus (E.U.C) in the field of Social Psychiatry. He is a regular member of the Hellenic Psychiatric Association and an International member of the American Psychiatric Association (APA). In addition, he is a member of the European Society of Medical Sexology (ESSM) and the International Society of Medical Sexology (ISSM). He is the Director of the Institute of Mental and Sexual Health from 1994 until today, actively practicing clinical Psychiatry.
