Christos Ch. Liapis, University of Athens Psychiatrist and Psychiatrist, will speak on Thursday, October 3, 2019, at 18:30, at an event organized by the Kalambaka Library.
 
September has been established worldwide as a month dedicated to the scourge of our century, Alzheimer's disease and on the occasion of the short story by award-winning American author Alice Munro, "The Bear Came Over the Mountain," inspired by the battle that millions of our fellow human fight daily, Dr. Liapis will address issues related to the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer's disease and depression in old age, but also to relieving the burden on families and caregivers from those suffering from neurodegenerative diseases.
