We Stay at Home - We Connect With the Library!
The Kalambaka Library successfully continues the online meetings that aim to entertain and of course promote communication between people during this difficult period of isolation.
On Friday, April 24, at 7:00 pm, we will have the pleasure of talking to the well-known novelist, Mr. Christos Homenidis, who will talk about his writing. Mr. Homenidis is a graduate of the Law School of the University of Athens and has written articles in dozens of newspapers and magazines. His first novel, The Wise Child, was critically acclaimed. His books have been translated into French, English, Spanish, Turkish and other languages and have received awards and distinctions. Niki's book, which is dedicated to the author's mother, is the chronicle of modern Greek history, has been honored with the Greek Novel of the Year award at the Public Bookstores and the Novel Award of the magazine Anagnostis. His book The Phoenix has also won the Greek Novel of the Year award for 2019 at Public bookstores.
We invite book lovers to engage in a constructive discussion with one of the leading exponents of historical memory.
