Sad-much?&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>The literary world today says farewell to one of its most important representatives, the notorious Alkie Zei.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>The crisp way of writing, the integrity, the way of expression and empathy are the hallmarks of Alkie Zei&#8217;s works, which have raised generations of readers. The <em>Showcase Tapestry,<\/em> her first novel, was a landmark work in Greek children&#8217;s literature and is considered a classic work of world literature.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Her works include many autobiographical elements and have been loved by Greek and foreign readers alike, as they have uniquely captured contemporary Greek history. As she herself put it: &#8220;If I chose to write for children, it is because I wanted to capture what my generation has lived through, that I fear will be forgotten when we are gone.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Unfortunately, the students of 1st Kalambaka Elementary School will not have the opportunity to chat with her, as a teleconference was scheduled for Wednesday, March 4, where they would express the emotions her books offered them.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>We are very fortunate and grateful for the work he has offered, though it will continue to exist through, and sad for the great loss.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy-much?
