The online lecture titled “What can the Classics teach us about Artificial Intelligence?” was successfully held on Friday, April 3rd. The event was co-organized by the Kalampaka Library and the Association of Greek Librarians and Information Scientists, as part of the “Year of Artificial Intelligence – 2026” program.
During his presentation, Mr. Georgios Steiris, Professor at the Department of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), analyzed the relationship between humans and intelligent machines in the modern era. He also highlighted how ancient Greek literature can make a substantial contribution to today’s dialogue on Artificial Intelligence.
