Students from Oxyneia Junior High School Visit the Library

On Friday, December 19, Oxyneia Junior High School carried out an educational visit to the Library as part of a school trip organized by the school.

During the visit, students were informed about the profession and the modern role of the librarian, as well as about the career prospects and professional pathways of graduates of Library, Archive, and Information Systems studies.

This was followed by a guided tour of the exhibition of woodcarving works by the Kalampaka School of Woodcarving, where students became acquainted with contemporary wood-processing techniques that combine tradition with modern artistic creation.

The visit concluded with the students’ participation in a hands-on workshop on new technologies. With great enthusiasm, the students familiarized themselves with the operation and programming of drones, as well as with the creation of three-dimensional ornaments using a scanner and a 3D printer.
