With a large turnout and strong public interest, the informative talk on digital security and new forms of misinformation in the age of Artificial Intelligence took place on Thursday, November 20.
At the event titled “Propaganda, Misinformation, and Scams Using Artificial Intelligence – How We Protect Ourselves in the Digital Age”, attendees were informed about the mechanisms through which fake news is produced and circulated, the manipulation techniques used on social networks, as well as the growing threat of deepfakes.
The speaker, Vangelis Foufikos, presented examples of modern digital scams and analyzed tools and practices that can help citizens safeguard their digital presence.
