Lego Coding Express Workshop (Ages 3-5)

The Lego Coding Express is an educational tool that uses the popular Lego play system to introduce young children (mainly preschoolers) to the basic principles of programming and computational thinking. The Lego Coding Express workshop consists of a set with a train and colorful “action bricks” that children place on the tracks. These “actions” represent programming commands, such as stop, start, play a sound, or other functions.

The key advantage of this set is that through play, children learn how to structure their thoughts, solve problems, and collaborate while developing creativity and coding skills. The workshop may also include activities that encourage the exploration of mathematical and scientific concepts.
