On March 20th, the 5th-grade students of the 4th Primary School will step away from their desks to become “nature researchers”! As part of our educational activities, they will visit the Kalampaka Library to participate in the museum kit program entitled: “Soil Supports Life.”
Through this specific program, children will come to understand that the soil beneath our feet is not just “dirt,” but a living organism that provides food, hosts thousands of species, and protects our planet.
Our activities will include:
Experiential Exploration: Using specialized museum kit materials to understand the composition of the soil.
Environmental Awareness: Discussing the importance of protecting the earth from pollution and erosion.
Observation Workshops: Discovering how the soil “feeds” plants and, by extension, all of us.
