Abstract: Despite the general suspicion surrounding the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in various aspects of daily life, this presentation focuses on the positive prospects of AI integration in education. Within the recent European regulatory framework, it is argued that AI can offer vast opportunities for enhancing the educational process at all levels. This is achieved, on one hand, through continuous and personalized feedback on the learners’ experience and, on the other, through the critical enrichment of teachers’ instructional practices. Drawing on international examples of successful AI integration, the presentation highlights the contribution of new technologies to the innovative redesign of teaching and learning practices and the general revitalization of the educational vision. The presentation concludes with a concise formulation of ethical principles for the proper implementation of innovative technologies in this field.
