Educational and cultural activities are offered in the Library, the communities comprising Meteora Municipality, as well as at a national and international level.
On Thursday, October 23, Library will welcome the students of the 2nd grade of the 2nd Primary School of Kalambaka for an educational activity themed “Clothing in Antiquity.”
The activity is based on the museum kit from the Museum of Cycladic Art, which offers children the opportunity to explore how ancient Greeks dressed, the materials and techniques used to make their garments, and the role clothing played in social and cultural life.
Through interactive activities, replicas of ancient garments, and audiovisual material, students will travel back to ancient times and discover how clothing served not only as protection but also as an expression of identity and aesthetics.
With this program, the Library continues its educational mission, offering students of all ages activities that promote culture, history, and creative learning.
