Summer Campaign: A Journey to the Past with the Paintbrushes of Theophilos Hatzimichail

Today at the Library, we traveled in our imagination to Greece of another era, inspired by the educational activity “In the library everything is painted”, as part of the Summer Reading and Creativity Campaign.

The children had the opportunity to come into contact with folk painting and to discover aspects of daily life, tradition, culture, and the history of the Greek people through the works of the great painter, Theophilos Hatzimichail.

Through group play, which served as a bridge of communication and creation—enhancing empathy, teamwork, and the joy of learning—they cultivated cooperation and developed ways to express their thoughts and feelings.

On Thursday, September 4th, at 12:00 p.m., the Closing Celebration of the Summer Reading and Creativity Campaign will take place.
