On Friday, July 5th, the workshop of the Summer Reading and Creativity Campaign “A world at my feet!” took place, transforming our young friends into enthusiastic naturalists! The purpose of the workshop was for children to understand the variety and species of animals that inhabit the underground and to learn to respect all animals regardless of size.
Initially, there was a discussion about all the organisms that live, reproduce, and grow beneath the earth, such as rodents, earthworms, ants, moles, and the children shared their own experiences from the countryside and their encounters with bugs and insects. Afterwards, they were divided into groups and constructed an underground city with tunnels and burrows, which they decorated with natural materials and animal figures, creating a sanctuary for the small animals that need to be protected.
The next activity will take place on Monday, July 8th at 12:00 p.m.
