At the Summer Education and Creativity Workshop, play became an opportunity for creative expression today, as the children took on the task of designing and constructing their own board games.
During the first part of the activity, inspired by beloved stories and their own imaginative “book conspiracies,” the young participants designed and crafted their own game boards, quest cards, and playing pieces, giving shape to their ideas.
The activity highlighted the importance of play as a learning tool, as the children experimented, collaborated, and actively engaged in a process that fostered creativity, logical thinking, and communication.
The second part of the activity will take place tomorrow, aiming for the young creators to complete the board games they designed.
