The mission of the Kalambaka Library is to provide traditional and electronic informational, educational, cultural, and entertainment services, aiming to enhance the social, cultural, and economic life of the residents of Kalambaka as well as those in remote villages.
These goals could not be achieved without the collaboration of the Trikala Police Directorate and the Mobile Police Unit, which transports books and educational packages to remote Primary Education schools in the Municipality of Meteora. The purpose of the program is to promote literacy and enhance critical thinking.
Additionally, the Library conducts live Educational Robotics workshops in school units of the Municipality of Meteora. The aim of educational robotics is to help 21st-century students better understand advanced technology and prepare for the future.
