Children of Agiofyllo had the opportunity to embark on a special journey into the world of books through the workshop “The Houses of Books.” The event was organized by the Library in collaboration with the local Cultural Association, as part of the Summer Campaign for Reading and Creativity.
The young participants learned about the stages of book creation and production, as well as the various professions that collaborate to bring a book from an initial concept to the library shelf and into the hands of readers.
Afterward, using their imagination, creativity, and team spirit, the children crafted their own mini-books and decorated a 3D bookshelf they constructed using cardboard and simple crafts materials. Through this process, they expressed their ideas, nurtured their creative thinking, and experienced the joy of collaboration.
The Library extends its warmest thanks to the Cultural Association of Agiofyllo for the excellent cooperation and warm hospitality, as well as to all the children who participated with such enthusiasm, filling the day with beautiful creative moments and bright smiles.
