Visit of the 3rd Grade Students of the 2nd Gymnasium of Kalambaka to the Library

The students of the third grade of the 2nd Gymnasium of Kalambaka carried out an educational visit to the Library.

The main aim of the visit was to familiarize students with the operation of a modern library and the multiple opportunities it offers, so that they can use it as a meaningful tool for learning, research, and leisure.

During the visit, students were thoroughly informed about the profession of the librarian, as well as the responsibilities, prospects, and career opportunities available to graduates of Library Science, Archival Studies, and Information Systems programs.

Of particular interest was the guided tour of the exhibition of woodcarving works by the Kalambaka Woodcarving School, which gave students the opportunity to become acquainted with traditional art through modern techniques and creative approaches.

The educational visit concluded with the students’ participation in a hands-on workshop on drone programming and operation. This activity greatly excited the participants and allowed them to engage with new technologies and their applications in the contemporary educational process.
