The students of Gomfoi Primary School visited the Library on Wednesday, March 11, to participate in educational programs designed to foster a love for learning.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to connect with the world of books and knowledge. They toured the facilities and showed great interest in observing the sun through the Library’s telescope.
Afterward, they took part in an experiential educational activity inspired by the museum kit “Soil Supports Life.” This kit is currently hosted at the Library thanks to the kind courtesy of the “Friends of the Goulandris Natural History Museum” association.
The goal of the activity is to help students understand the vital importance of soil for nature through hands-on engagement. The core message of the program was: “Every dead organism supports the creation of new life.”
