On Tuesday, February 27th, we had the pleasure of welcoming the students of the 1st grade of Pylis 1st High School to the Library. The students were given a tour of the space, were informed about the Library’s programs and regulations. They were introduced to the Dewey Decimal Classification System, familiarized themselves with searching for materials in the Library’s electronic catalog, and learned how to locate favorite books on the shelves.
Following that, there was a briefing on three-dimensional scanning and printing technology, followed by a demonstration of the functions of the three-dimensional scanner available at the Library. Then, there was a reading of texts in English, French, and German languages, in relation to the workshops on basic foreign language communication skills that take place at the Library.
We would like to thank Pylis 1st High School for their visit and collaboration.
