On Wednesday, April 24th, the students of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades of the 11th Primary School of Trikala visited the Library to learn about the educational programs and services it offers to the public. The students were guided through all three levels of the Library, introduced to the Dewey Decimal Classification System, which organizes the collection, and were informed about the process of becoming a library member.
Following that, educational activities targeting primary school students were conducted. The children played educational games on the interactive board, specially designed for the early grades of primary school, and solved exercises, reviewing their school material. Then, they engaged with the educational robotics package mTiny, introducing them to the world of robotics and programming.
We thank the 11th Primary School of Trikala for the visit and collaboration. We look forward to welcoming them again soon!
