On Monday, April 15th, we welcomed 70 children from the 6th Kindergarten of Karditsa to the Library as part of an educational trip to our city.
Our young friends were guided through the children’s section and got acquainted with the children’s collection of books and toys. They learned how to become members of a Library and shared their favorite children’s books with us. Then, they were divided into groups and engaged with the educational robotics kit, mTiny, getting a first introduction to the world of programming. They expressed their ideas about what robotics is and what we can do with robot construction. Afterwards, they played with the little robot, which fascinated them with its capabilities, designed routes with programming cards, and had fun with interactive maps!
