On Tuesday, March 26th, students from the Tourism sector of a University in Belgium were hosted at the Library as part of their visit to Kalambaka. The purpose was to attend a presentation by Visit Meteora, a team of professionals in the travel industry with extensive experience in the local destination of Meteora.
The presentation focused on Meteora as a religious and alternative tourist destination, protected by UNESCO, the monastic community dating back to the 14th century, as well as the unique natural landscape of unparalleled beauty that allows for various activities for visitors.
The students were given a tour of the Library and were amazed by the facilities it offers.
