Library celebrated Greece’s National Anniversary of October 28th with a special painting workshop

To mark the National Anniversary of October 28th, 1940, the Library organized a special painting workshop dedicated to honoring and remembering all those who fought for the freedom of our country.

The participating children had the opportunity, through colors and creative expression, to learn about the historic events of the “Ohi” (“No”) and to capture, with their imagination, the ideals of peace, freedom, and unity.

With the guidance of the Library’s staff, we discussed the meaning of this important day, and the children created beautiful, symbolic, and colorful paintings that reflected the spirit of remembrance and national pride.
