Another activity of the Summer Campaign was successfully completed at the Theopetra Cave Documentation and Education Center, under the title: “Everything is Heroic.”
The children who participated had the opportunity to get to know Achilles not only as a brave warrior, but also as a hero with deep human emotions and inner conflicts.
Through selected excerpts from the Iliad, images, creative activities, and discussion, the children explored the many facets of the hero’s psyche, shaping their own perspective on the characters of the Homeric epic.
The workshop aimed to offer an experiential approach to epic storytelling, to strengthen teamwork, and to cultivate empathy.
