Kalambaka Library hosted Dr Maria Efthimiou on Tuesday 23 January in an event that was attended by over 600 people, including guests that came to Kalambaka from Athens and Thessaloniki.
In my opening comments I was addressing all those who graced us with their presence as well as my ancestors to whom I have dedicated this library.
It was my honor to present the distinguished scholar that inspired the audience with a lecture of 3 ½ hours and continued to build on our three pillars of Education, Access and Opportunity. This became possible with the hard work and dedication of our Library team which has been creating and enriching our services to the Kalambaka community for the past nine years.
We will continue and increase our efforts to excel at the highest level of commitment and professionalism, and we invite everyone’s thoughts and ideas on how we can improve our services.
