With great participation and intense interest, the speech by analyst and author Mr. Savvas Kalenteridis took place on Thursday, September 10, focusing on geopolitical developments in the Eastern Mediterranean.
The event was also attended by the special associate to the Mayor of Meteora, Mr. Konstantinos Preventis.
Mr. Kalenteridis, a former EYP (Hellenic National Intelligence Service) officer, author, and geostrategic analyst, presented a broad overview of developments in the region, attempting to connect current realities with significant milestones in modern history.
At the center of the address were Greek-Turkish relations, Turkish provocations and claims in the Greek domain, as well as the factors that have historically shaped Turkey’s stance. The speaker referenced key events in modern history, highlighting the causes and motives that contributed to shaping the current geopolitical landscape.
A Q&A session with the audience followed, during which questions were raised and a fruitful dialogue was developed regarding ongoing geopolitical developments.
