The screening of the film “Kapodistrias” (2025), directed and written by Yannis Smaragdis, took place in the courtyard of the Library.
The audience had the opportunity to watch the dramatic biographical film, which sheds light on the life and journey of Ioannis Kapodistrias, the first Governor of modern Greece, as well as the significant challenges he faced in his attempt to establish the newly formed Greek state.
The screening was held in a lovely evening atmosphere, in the presence of a large crowd that responded to the invitation and watched the film with keen interest. The evening concluded in a warm atmosphere, leaving the best impressions on those in attendance.
