Students have the opportunity to embark on an experiential journey into the world of ancient nutrition through the new educational Museum Kit by the Museum of Cycladic Art, hosted at the Library until November 16th.
The Museum Kit focuses on the dietary habits of the ancient Greeks, while highlighting the principles of a healthy and balanced diet, both in ancient times and today.
Through rich educational material, including informative texts, images, exact replicas of ancient vessels, educational games, and suggested activities, students have the opportunity to learn what the ancient Greeks ate, how they prepared and stored their food, and to discover the timeless importance of proper nutrition for health and well-being.
As part of hosting the Museum Kit, educational workshops will be conducted in collaboration with teachers and students, available by appointment with the Library.
Teachers interested in scheduling a visit and participation for their students in the educational workshops can contact us at (+30) 24320 23041-3.
