New oral history from Kastraki

Library continues its work of recording and preserving local history through the program “Tell Your Story”, completing yet another valuable oral history.

This time, Mr. Grigoris Ziogas spoke about old Kastraki, describing everyday life, society, and the development of tourism in the area.

His narration is a living piece of our history and a precious record for future generations.

Through such testimonies, the Library seeks to preserve the voices and experiences of the people of our region, strengthening collective memory and highlighting the richness of our cultural heritage.

We warmly thank Mr. Grigoris Ziogas for his participation and his important contribution to this effort.

For more information and access to the narration, please visit the Library’s website.
