The launch of the Summer Reading and Creativity Campaign took place on Tuesday, June 16, featuring a special introductory activity to this year’s theme.
As part of the opening activity, titled “The Book is Just the Beginning,” the young participants journeyed into the magical world of books, learned about the stages of book creation, and discovered the key roles involved in publishing, such as the author, the illustrator, and the publisher.
The activity offered children the opportunity to approach books not just as readers, but as creators, as each child designed and illustrated their own small book, expressing their imagination.
The next action of the Summer Campaign 2026, titled “Shall I Tell You a Story?”, will take place on Friday, June 19, at 12:00 p.m.
