On Tuesday, February 13th, the event “Quiet… the brown bear will wake up” took place at the Library, organized by the Microbiology & Parasitology Laboratory of the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Thessaly and the Art & Education Laboratory Vissinokipos for the Special School of Kalambaka.
The event is part of the European project “Enhancing the sustainability of brown bears in Central Italy and Greece through the development of coexistence corridors with humans” and includes interactive games and puppet theater performance. The aim of the event is to raise awareness among young students about wildlife management issues and to educate them about animals threatened with extinction.
